Account suspension recovery
Indefinite (MC999) and temporary suspensions, performance, policy and unpaid-fee reasons.
eBay suspension recovery for MC999 suspensions, MC011 restrictions, VeRO and policy cases, and linked-account suspensions. We diagnose the reason from the notice and the account history, assemble the evidence that answers it, and write the one appeal that gets read.
92% reinstatement on the eBay appeals we take on
Each one is a different process with a different reviewing team. The first mistake most sellers make is treating them as the same.
Selling and usually buying stopped. Payouts held. The reason line in the notice decides the whole appeal.
Selling paused until identity, address, business, supplier or payment documents are verified. A documents problem, not an appeal.
Listings removed on a rights-owner report or a listing policy. Repeat removals escalate to restriction and suspension.
Defects and cases crossed the threshold on the 20th, fees rose, and the account was eventually suspended on performance grounds.
A second account suspended because it shares identity, payment, address or device signals with a suspended one.
Funds held or payouts restricted while eBay verifies the account, often alongside a restriction.
eBay reinstates accounts when it is satisfied that the risk it identified is gone. That is the whole logic of the service. We work out what eBay actually flagged, fix or evidence it, and put it in front of the right team once, in the form that team reads.
The sequence is always the same: read the notice properly, complete every open order, diagnose the root cause against the account history, gather the evidence that answers that specific reason, write one structured appeal, submit through the channel the notice names, then wait without sending daily follow-ups that reset the queue.
Every case in our eBay suspension recovery service is checked against the policy eBay cites, whether that is eBay's seller performance policy or the Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) programme, before a word of the appeal is written.

Indefinite (MC999) and temporary suspensions, performance, policy and unpaid-fee reasons.
MC011 document packs matched to the request, resubmissions when a round is rejected.
Three-part structured appeals: reason understood, actions completed, permanent change.
Identity, address, business and supplier verification, and account-review requests.
Category and listing-level restrictions, including selling-limit resets after reinstatement.
Establishing separation, or resolving the original account so linked ones are reviewed with it.
You know the price before any work starts.
The appeal is step five. Sellers who reply within minutes and gather documents days later rarely get a second reading.
Code, stated reason, deadline and the exact channel eBay names. Saved as a record.
Ship what is paid, upload tracking, refund what cannot ship. Unresolved orders weaken every appeal.
Match the reason to the account history. Performance, policy, fees, identity or a linked account.
Only what answers the stated reason: invoices, ID, tracking, process changes, fixed listings.
One structured submission through the named channel. No daily follow-ups.

The reply sent in the first hour, before the reason is understood, is the reply eBay reads first. A second account opened during the suspension becomes a linked-account case. An appeal that addresses the wrong reason group reads as a seller who has not understood the problem. Most of the damage in suspension cases happens in the first two days, which is why the first thing we do is stop the clock on mistakes.
What the notice means, the first 48 hours, how the appeal works.

See the solutionWho filed it, what to say to the rights owner, when a counter notice applies.
See the solutioneBay publishes no timeline. In cases we have handled, replies to a complete appeal have arrived within a few days for unpaid-fee and verification cases and within several weeks for performance or policy suspensions. Incomplete appeals add a round each time eBay asks for more.
MC011 is a restriction: selling is paused until eBay verifies documents (identity, address, business, supplier invoices, payment). MC999 is an indefinite suspension: the account is closed to selling and reopens only after a successful appeal. The remedies are different, which is why we diagnose the notice before anything else.
No, and we recommend caution with anyone who does. Nobody outside eBay decides the outcome. The case review is free: we read the notice and the account history and tell you plainly whether an appeal is likely to succeed. If it is not, we say so and you pay nothing. If we take the case on, we quote a fixed fee before any work starts.
Sometimes. The route runs through the original suspended account. If you believe the link is mistaken, the appeal needs proof of separate identity, business, payment details and operating history. Denying a link eBay has verified through payment data closes the conversation.
The notice (as sent, with the reference code), access to Seller Hub or exports of the performance dashboard, cases and policy notices, and whatever documents eBay named. The free audit form is the fastest way to send the first two.
Orders must still be shipped or refunded; unresolved orders become cases and defects that weaken the appeal. eBay is able to hold funds while it assesses risk, and in cases we have handled releases followed the resolution, sometimes weeks later. We plan cash flow for that with you.
No. eBay links accounts by identity, payment, address and device signals. A new account is normally suspended as a linked account within days and weakens the appeal for the original.
