Notice review
What was flagged, under which policy, and what the marketplace is asking you to provide.
When eBay, Amazon or TikTok Shop flags a counterfeit item violation, the answer is evidence, not argument. We review the notice and your supply chain documents, close the gaps we can, fix the listings that invite the flag and write one response the policy can accept.
Retail receipts, invoices without supplier details, or quantities that do not cover what was sold.
No contact details, no authorisation, and nothing that links the stock to the brand.
Brand stock photos, prices far below the usual and vague condition notes.
Returns and feedback that say "not authentic" add to the marketplace's signals.
A first response without the documents, which makes the next one harder.
Payouts on hold and, on Amazon, inventory that may be disposed of if the case is not resolved.
Both eBay's counterfeit item policy and Amazon's Anti-Counterfeiting policy make the seller responsible for selling only authentic products, and TikTok Shop applies the same principle to branded goods. In practice that means a supply chain you can document.
We start with the notice and the documents you have. We check each invoice the way a marketplace reviewer would: supplier identity and contact details, dates, quantities and product descriptions against what you sold. Where there are gaps, we tell you what is missing and how to ask your supplier for it. Then we review the affected listings for the things that invite a counterfeit flag, and write one response, with the evidence in the order the reviewer needs it.
What was flagged, under which policy, and what the marketplace is asking you to provide.
Invoices, supplier details and any authorisation, organised to match the items sold.
The details reviewers look for, checked before anything is submitted.
Images, titles, condition and brand references that make genuine stock look suspicious.
A factual, complete response written once, not a series of partial replies.
A supplier checklist so new stock arrives with the documents you will need.
The flagged items and what the policy requires.
Invoices and supplier documents gathered and checked.
What is missing, and whether it can be obtained.
One submission with the evidence in order.
Checks so the next delivery is documented.

Marketplaces treat authenticity complaints as a risk to buyers, not a listing detail. Consequences can include removed listings, held funds, account restrictions or suspension, and on Amazon the disposal of inventory in its warehouses. A well-documented response is the main thing a seller controls, which is why the evidence is worth getting right before anything is sent.
Marketplaces act on reports and signals, not proof. A rights owner report, buyer complaints that an item is fake, a price far below the usual, stock photos from the brand, or a new account selling a heavily copied brand can all trigger a counterfeit or inauthentic flag. Being genuine is not enough on its own; you have to show where the stock came from.
Often not. Marketplaces usually want supply chain documentation: invoices from the manufacturer or an authorised distributor, with the supplier's name and contact details, dates and quantities that cover what you sold, and in some cases a letter of authorisation from the brand. A retail receipt or a marketplace order confirmation is weaker evidence, and we will tell you honestly if what you have is unlikely to be accepted.
That is a sourcing problem as well as an appeal problem. We help you ask for the right documents in the right form; if the supplier cannot or will not provide them, the safer course is usually to stop selling that stock and change supplier, because the same flag will come back.
Then we will not help you argue otherwise. Selling counterfeit goods breaks marketplace policy and the law. What we can do is help you remove the listings, deal with the account consequences honestly and set up sourcing checks so it does not happen again.
No. The marketplace decides, and some cases cannot be recovered whatever the evidence. We make sure your response gives the marketplace what its policy asks for, once, and that nothing else in the catalogue undermines it.
No. We work within marketplace policies and seller appeal processes. If a brand threatens legal action, or you are disputing whether a product infringes, speak to a qualified lawyer.
