Notice diagnosis
Which policy, which rule within it, and whether the product is allowed at all.
Product listing violation recovery: a listing removed as prohibited, restricted or non-compliant is rarely the only one at risk. We find the rule it broke, fix or document the product, check the rest of the catalogue and respond to the marketplace once, with the right evidence.
The notice names a policy, not a reason you can act on, and similar listings are still live.
Products that need pre-approval or documents, listed as if they did not.
Required product safety, manufacturer or certification information that the listing does not carry.
Health, medical, safety or performance wording that turns an allowed product into a violation.
Wrong condition, category, attributes or images, flagged by buyers or by the marketplace.
Each removal counts. Enough of them affect account health, selling limits and later appeals.
Each marketplace publishes its own product rules: eBay's prohibited and restricted items policy, Amazon's restricted products policy, and TikTok Shop's prohibited and restricted products rules in TikTok Shop Academy. A product violation notice usually points at one of them without saying what to change.
We start by matching the notice to the exact rule. Then we search the catalogue for every listing with the same exposure, decide for each one whether it should be removed, rewritten, documented or put through an approval, and only then respond to the marketplace. Responding first and cleaning up later is how one removal turns into a pattern on the account.

Marketplaces keep a record. On Amazon, policy violations feed the Account Health Rating; on TikTok Shop they can carry violation points; on eBay, repeated policy breaches lead to selling limits and restrictions. An account with a history of violations gets less benefit of the doubt when it appeals anything else, so fixing the whole catalogue after the first notice is the cheapest moment to do it.
Any listing a marketplace removes or blocks because of the product itself rather than the account: an item the marketplace prohibits, a restricted item listed without approval or documents, missing safety or compliance information, claims the product cannot make (health, medical or safety claims, for example), or a listing whose details do not match the item. Counterfeit and intellectual property reports have their own services because the evidence is different.
Sometimes. If the product is allowed and the problem was missing documents, the wrong category or a claim in the listing, it can usually be fixed and relisted or appealed. If the marketplace prohibits the product outright, it cannot come back, and the work is removing similar listings before they add to the account's violation history. We tell you which applies before any work starts.
No. The marketplace makes the decision, and nobody can promise its outcome. What we do is make sure the response addresses the exact rule, with the right evidence, and that the rest of the catalogue does not carry the same problem.
It depends on the product and the marketplace: supplier invoices, safety test reports or certificates, product safety and manufacturer information required in some regions, ingredient or material lists, and category approval documents. We list exactly what the notice and the policy ask for, and what you already have.
No. We work within each marketplace's published policies and its seller processes. Where a question is about whether a product meets a law or a safety regulation, you need a qualified compliance specialist or lawyer, and we will say so.
eBay, Amazon and TikTok Shop most often, and Etsy, Shopify and WooCommerce stores where a payment provider or platform has flagged products. The approach is the same; the policies, evidence and appeal routes differ.
